Being a mother and parenting children little or big is a TOUGH job. To start, we have our own baggage. Then we add our children who have their own temperament. Add certain challenges like mental illness, learning disabilities, health problems, sensory processing disorder, coping style and so forth- well parenting and mothering just got a whole lot more complicated.
I created this blog for several reasons: First, to raise awareness and open the conversation on certain topics that may still be taboo concerning mothers and children.
Second, when possible, I connect resources and tips for empowerment. Some of those tips may come from my Ah-Ah and Ohh-Ohh moments which are more personal to my experience in being a mother, teacher, or caseworker.
So, make yourself comfortable and dive into my blog for Ah-Ah Tools.
If you have any specific topics you want me to address feel free to write to me and I will do my best to address it in a blog post anonymously.
